Here in Australia, it’s no secret we love a good Italian restaurant. It’s safe to say most of us are a big fan of Italian cheese, bread and of course pasta. Godi La Vita is one of our favourites for Italian food, located on King William Road in Hyde Park, Adelaide.

Let’s start with brunch. Personally, I’m a huge brunch fan so standard bacon and eggs dishes don’t do much for me. If you want something a little different but true to Italian roots, look no further than the Polenta Fagioli Slsiccia. You can expect Italian sausage, baked beans, pomarola sauce, sour cream and Italian ciabatta. Delicious!

From 11:30 am, you can sink your teeth into some of the most coveted Godi La Vita dishes. One in particular, is the infamous Cheese Wheel Pasta. Yes, it’s everything you’re imagining — pasta bathed in hot pecorino, parmesan or piave cheesy goodness.

Another dish to try if you’re obsessed with mushrooms (like me) is the Pappardelle Al Ragu with fresh egg pasta, mushrooms, pork, veal ragu and parmasen cheese. All my favourites in one dish? It’s a yes from me.

For dessert, the Coffee Panna Cotta always satisfies with the perfect wobble and a strong latte flavour accompanied by chocolate crumbs and fruit. After a rich main, that taste of coffee is just what you’ll need to revitalise your taste buds!
